Business Interruption: Is it Time for a New Frontier?
Open to view video.  |  62 minutes
Open to view video.  |  62 minutes This session is designed to offer keen insights on the nature of a business interruption claim. Ransomware events and other causes of computer system-wide shutdowns are frequent enough to suggest that the claim process is uniform and clear for policyholders and carriers alike. But real-life experience evidence that is the furthest from the truth. From policyholders to carriers to brokers and underwriters, can the process be improved? This diverse panel of active participants in these very questions will engage in a robust discussion to dispel certain myths associated with business interruption claims but will shine light on what someone could expect during the process and advance theories on how the industry can do better. Is it time for a change?
